Description

While the charming Old Town is undeniably the highlight of a visit to Tallinn, there is a lot to see... on the other side! Tour takes you beyond the touristy Old Town to the hip Kalamaja district, Seaplain harbor and Patarei prison, the out-of-the-way Kopli area, beautiful beach in Pelguranna and the phenomenal Telliskivi Creative City. You’ll be filled in on local culture and history, with plenty of laughs along the way.

The tour begins at the City Bike office in the Old Town. Our first stop will be the once-fabulous Tallinn City Hall. Narrow streets will bring us closer to Kalamaja – one of the top 20 most hipster neighbourhoods in the world.

After parking our bikes and taking a walk inside the grounds of Patarei Prison, we’ll make our way to the mammoth, steel-reinforced concrete shell that is the Seaplane Harbour.

We’ll then continue on to the lesser-known area of Kopli to admire its strange mix of Soviet architecture, sandy beaches and great views. The ride will be spiced up with plenty of fascinating stories from Soviet times!

After taking a short break at Stroomi beach, we’ll pass Telliskivi Loomelinnak (Creative City), the biggest centre of creative industries in Estonia, and visit the Balti Jaam market – a place that really takes you back in time! We’ll then head back to the City Bike office in the Old Town.

Important!
We have minimum 2 participants, if you book one person then we will accept it when there are more people booked! If not then we have to cancel the tour.
